It also seems low key rude, like you're using someone else's hard work making a mod to promote your own pack? A lot of modpacks seem to do this, you go on the description and all they have to sell themselves is a glorified modlist, and it often feels like they're effectively taking credit from the mods and putting it onto the modpack Or like, if the appeal is "this is a questing kitchen sink with End Remastered" - couldn't I just get that same experience by taking any other questing kitchen sink pack and adding End Remastered to it? Sell me on those or I'm going to think you have nothing to really offer that I couldn't get from just downloading those mods. If the best a modpack can say to sell itself is "hey look we included this cool mod", that should make you skeptical of the quality of the pack.Ī modpack is the things that make it more than just a mod list. You just want an echo chamber of people who will gush about a pack that isn't even out yet?
